I don’t understand the question. I have fly fished in OK, WY, and MT.
I never thought of Oklahoma as being an area where people fly fish, just asking if there are people here that fly fish in Oklahoma.
In most of the gay bars I assume.
Seriously I have tried it for crappie and perch with a couple old split bamboo rods I used to own. I never had anyone to teach me and this was before the internet took off so I never got the hang of it. I think it could be fun if you had someone to teach you.
Pond fly fish is fun.
Yep, bluegill are a blast along a weed line.
You can pretty much fly fish for about anything (don’t know about catfish) and I’m talking from panfish, bass, steelhead and salmon to dorado and marlin.
My dad's buddy used to fly fish for bass and perch. Looked like a blast. If I didn't already have to many hobbies I'd get into it myself. I suspect a fly rod for surfacing sand bass would be wild.
I fly fish and used to tie my own flies. You'd be surprised what you can catch with a fly in Oklahoma I've even caught a cat fish once on a fly. Its not common mind you but you can indeed catch fish here with fly fishing rigs.
