Lucky you most if not all the coats today are not made in the USA, my HD Cycle jacket bought in 1969 cost $69 today a non USA HD jacket today is $300+ my London Fog raincoat made in Baltimore Md was $65 in the 70s they are nolonger made in the USA and the non USA made ones they go for around $200.I'm wearing a Holubar that dad bought in 1975.
Once his belly got too big, he gave it to me.
I wear it weekly in the cool months.
Very well made.
Such a joy to see Made In USA!
That's a nice sheepskin!Today try finding any American made coats, i have a few and am happy i do.
It's a Lake Land and it uses American Sheepskin and Lake Land was made in the USA when it was made, you can see where the material has come in contact with barbed wire, the foreign sheep are kept in closed as to keep their skins perfict. That's a nice sheepskin!
I am sure today it would be $800 or a lot more, when i was in SantaFe 21 years ago i went to a flea market near the town, there was a foreign made sheep skin coat asking price was $1,200 dollars.Canada count?
