Getting them to pay always seemed difficult. And as for family law, I would rather chew glass.

Back then I was a single mom, trying to raise 3 teenage boys, and had 2 jobs ... I didn't have a nerve left for any of those jack-***es to get on ... And I feel ya with the family law thing ... I worked a case once where the couple were fighting over a dog's stuff. The dog had died. Apparently it was their "baby". They both wanted ALL the deceased dog's possessions ... and to have the other person banned from visiting the dog's cemetary plot ...
Some folks have a lot more money than sense ...
