If there's a gun season open, rifle or ML, you have to wear orange.
You just have to wear a orange hat, or vest, but not both.
Don't forget, must wear orange during youth season too.
I thought, hunting with a bow during muzzle loader, you had your choice of orange hat or vest, but during rifle, you're required to wear both. It's been 4 years since I was able to hunt, so rules may have changed. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
If archery hunting during any gun season, you must wear either a blaze orange vest or hat. If rifle hunting tou must wear both. Keep a thin orange cap in your bag cause the youth seasons always catch me off guard
Thanks for the info. During rifle,...I think I'd probably wear both vest and hat anyway. The hazards of public land hunting!
