no, not all double action.
A buddy of mine had a nite hawg (pretty much same as whart hawg) it was single action and jammed frequently, FTE & FTF. May have just been a bad one, but very unreliable. When he sold it, I wanted to buy it to try to get it running right, but for the money I couldn't justify it. At the cost they go for, they should already work, without having to throw more money into making them reliable.

The LDA's are all "double action," (it stands for Light Double Action) but they're not a true double action. The action of the slide is necessary to set the trigger system. If, after chambering a round, you pull the trigger the hammer rises and falls as expected, but if the gun doesn't go bang, the trigger will not allow you to pull it again. I was really interested in an LDA until I found out that. It does not give you the safety (ability to try to fire a round again) of a true double action.
