I wont restrict myself to the idealogies of any particular party ever again. I rather like being unencumbered and the political freedom to choose whom i vote for, without being beholding to some party that will eventually change and split.

socially conservative libritarian.

Please don't regard this as trolling. Do you believe we should regulate peoples lifestyles, or believe in free will and allow people to live their lives as they wish and do to their bodies as they will as long as it doesn't affect others rights and take responsibility for their actions. If it's the former I'd consider you a LINO.

BTW, I am a libertarian. Pretty conservitive in my own lifestyle, but definitely don't want to tell someone how to live theirs.

I also don't want to tell others how to live their lives. Unfortunately, when folks do as they choose, it's usually the rest of us who wind up paying the bill for their excesses. I don't particularly like that.

I agree Ronny, it didn't use to be like that. People need to be responsible for their on actions and how it impacts their lives.

It's kinda like saying a few lunatics do stupid **** with guns so nobody should have guns.

I'd say I'm a constitutional libertarian. As long as we're on this earth, we all have to live within some kind of framework in order for a civilized society to flourish. That said, my fallback position is: Leave me the hell alone and I'll return the favor.

I am libertarian on most domestic issues but not as much on foreign affairs. If we are ever going to change the two party system it will have to start at the local level. Maybe in time it will grow all the way to the top.

I oppose gay marriage and abortion. I support ending the war on drugs.

I also oppose gay marriage and abortion and also support ending the war on drugs, But still consider myself a libertarian.
I believe marriage is a religious issue and the state should have nothing to do with it. Making a church marry two men or women is wrong. Though I am not necessarily against them having legal contracts.
I believe abortion is wrong. It is more of a social issue though. When did it become ok to decide who dies and who lives? Should it be considered murder? When do you consider what living or dead? There are many questions I have that have not been answered.
I also believe in ending the war on drugs. I think decriminalization of all drugs would.........well im not going to get into that because it will open a whole different can of worms :P
