I just don’t see how the tribe could pursue any legal action against the citizen when he saved one of their officers. It would be a huge slap in the face I think

Could get interesting. Just because you have a permit to carry in Oklahoma doesn’t mean it’s legal on tribal nation land.

There would have been a time where I would’ve stepped in and possibly done the same thing. Now, probably not. I’d call 9-1-1 and report what was happening, but too many variables at play unless I was 100% sure that the officer was in the right and that lethal force is justified.

My bet is it will be listed as justified.

I was thinking more like matching the description as described by the witness, pointed out, or surveillance video. A better question might be why is the offender trying to drive off and drag the officer if they aren't guilty.
