Y'all don't understand how the extremely wealthy operate.
For one of us to buy that banana it would cost about .35 cents. Duct tape has to be bought in a roll for a couple bucks. Total investment about $3-$4. (I haven't bought duct tape in awhile so my price may be way off)
Art is in the eye of the beholder. This guy worth billions, pays millions to eat the banana. Gets a ton of social media thumbs up and moves along with his life as a special person. The likes are what he lives for.
Dropping 6 million for him is like us buying a fast-food burger to eat. It's nothing.

still missing the point. Buy a 2.50 display for a ton of cash. Insure it. Eat it, banana rots, whatever. Collect insurance. Now who's not cashing in? Lost the insurance to eating it? Tax write off. Rich people stay rich for a reason.

A banana duct-taped to a wall sells for $6.2M...then the buyer eats it. What the actual f*** are people thinking?

Are they sure it wasn't some of Hunter's artwork? Someone said the guy ate it with chop sticks.
