A while back @OK Corgi Rancher was asking about and received a tractor tire to be partially buried so that his goats could climb on it. Someone living fairly close to us also has some goats and has created a neat structure in his "goat yard" for them to climb on. There are a couple of other features for them, but the configuration of wooden spools is what attracted my attention.

No idea what it would cost to get spools, so no idea of what something like this would cost.

Yes, I have used spools in the past until they finally rotted on the bottom. I got them free from OG&E at that time. Keep your eyes open and you may run across them elsewhere as well. Besides having them to jump up on , etc.....I removed a couple of the inner boards leaving a 'cave' that the smaller goats love to go inside.

PS ...you may need to cover a hole or 2 on the surface so a hoof doesn't go into while they are 'sparing' ending up breaking a leg, etc.
