I've never seen anything firearms related at a good price at Atwoods. Their stock of ammo is generally shotgun and hunting cartridges only, anyway.
Love Atwoods, but they were in the wrong if they didn't honor the posted price. I've had that sort of thing happen to me at a variety of stores several times over the years and the store in question always honored the posted price without me doing anything other than showing them the marked price on the shelf.
Bought a huge gun safe at the Norman Atwoods several years ago. It's a Liberty, and was about a thou less than the same safe at some other OKC area retail stores. Continues to work fine.

I find it odd that Atwood no longer carries chain link fencing supplies...
I use to buy all my grade 8 hardware from them when I was fabricating offroad bumpers. They sold them by the pound and it was reasonably priced. Now they sell it by the bolt like all the other stores so I just buy them from Ace when I need them now. I don't find myself going in there as much as I once did for other stuff. Stillwater milling gets more of my business now.
I bought my gun safe from Atwoods this summer during their labor day sale. It was great deal on a 10 gun safe.
