I use to buy all my grade 8 hardware from them when I was fabricating offroad bumpers. They sold them by the pound and it was reasonably priced. Now they sell it by the bolt like all the other stores so I just buy them from Ace when I need them now. I don't find myself going in there as much as I once did for other stuff. Stillwater milling gets more of my business now.

Not sure that they have grade 8 hardware, but you can still buy hardware by the pound at Tractor Supply. It is significantly cheaper than Ace.

wood of different species of trees varies considerably in weight, strength, and appearance. Softwood is normally uniform in grain (texture) and color; hardwood, in which the rays are more prominent and the arrangement of tissues is variable,><><><[/QUOTE

Early morning spam, lol. I wonder what kind of grain "Atwood" has? Is it a hardwood or soft?:)

Okay, Another Retail Story. Ive been goin to Attwoods for My .22LR lately, cause theres Never any at Wally. I shoot alot of 40gr RoundNose stuff. They've had REM Thunderbolt and WIN Wildcat for $1.99 as long as I can Remember. Stoped in yesterday to buy some, and took 6 50rd boxes of each to the register.

The cashier scanned the first box of WIN, and it rang up $2.99. I said, NO, thats supposed to be $1.99.
She called the Manager over, and she asked where I had seen $1.99. I took her to the shelf and showed her, telling her it had Always been $1.99. She then told Me that it was wrong, and that the prices had changed.

I said "By a Dollar a Box?!?!?!?!!!" and She said "Yep, its because of that New Law They Passed" I said "What Law???". SHE DIDNT KNOW.
Hmmmmm.......Imagine THAT. She over-rode the price for My purcahse, and I asked if I could grap some more for that price, and she wouldnt let Me.

WTH??? Guess theyve been selling too much so the $$ went up. By the way, the REM scanned at $1.99 and she couldnt tell Me why it hadnt changed. She said its only certain ones that are going up. Freakin Attwoods?!?!?!?!!!

It appears he got it for $1.99.
