Why would anyone even think that Brussel Sprout soda is a good idea?

Did you ever see the Jones Soda Holiday Packs? They had different ones for each year (not sure if they still make them).

Turkey and Gravy (Gross)
Pecan Pie (Drinkable, but not thirst quenching by any means)
Cranberry (Drinkable)
Green Bean Casserole (Gross)
Mashed Potatoes and Butter (Gross)
Pumpkin Pie (Drinkable, semi-tasty)
Corn on the Cob (Gross)

And a few others. I used to hunt them out every year and pop them open and share them with the family on Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

They also had Halloween flavors at some point. Licorice was gross, but Candy Corn was good.

It was like the drink version of Jelly Belly's Bertie Bots jellybeans that came in ear wax, booger, vomit, dirt, grass, earthworm, and other gross flavors.

BTW, earthworm jelly beans are FAR worse than any of the above mentioned sodas, including brussel sprouts.

Wish people would piss off on the bacon craze.

I agree, bacon has always been awesome, not sure why its popularity has skyrocketed in the last couple of years.

I feel the same, even stronger, about vampires and zombies. Every new movie is about either of the two. And I'm not talking about the meth head zombies who come in and steal our guns, but the "braaaaaiiiinns" zombies.

Get over it already.

We had a ball with it and the rest of the Thanksgiving dinner sodas. As Danny Tanner pointed out Jones used to put out the holiday packs and we would sit around and try a small drink of each. The reactions were a blast.

I would still love to find a couple of bottles of the Brussels Sprouts soda for practical jokes on people.

Almost as much fun as shaving up a green persimmon and mixing it in their Skoal. :pms2:
