Beans in chili, where do you stand?

I can eat chili with beans but I would much prefer no beans in my chili. Beans add no improvement to a decent chili and in fact slightly detract from a great chili.

Beans are required to be in chili, however, due to the effects and how it affects my system, I generally go beanless.
