about two weeks before i take my ghillie suite go out back, dig a hole, throw my stuff in there with a gallon zip lock bag (opened of course about half way) of pine chips, cover it all back up and let the weather/mother earth do there work. pull it out couple days before and let air dry out side. worked for me so far.....

Secret bunker in an undisclosed location.
I used to hunt on an oil lease. I'd walk by a well site and get some crude on my boots. That and walk through some fresh cow piles and rub some cedar on my clothes always seemed to work. Most of the hunting I do now is fairly close to populated areas so I don't think human scent is that big of a deal.

I take a shower before I go "hunting", rarely do I have to wait longer than 20 minutes after daylight to kill my deer (Buck or Doe, whichever I am after). On stand time is about 40 minutes total. Sometimes, people make it harder than it is.

Coyotes, that is a different story altogether.
