Do you guys think this will make an impact on the election? Or does the average voter already got their mind made up and won't believe anything at this late stage to change their mind. I tend to lean towards the latter.
This whole thing is sleazy from the word go. The word will come out eventually, just as it did with Fast & Furious. I'm just afraid it will come out too late to do any good.

No. However, I think it's incredible how the administration used the emerging scandal in Benghazi as cover for the 5PM Friday release of the 18 months in the making DoJ IG report on F&F. It literally faded into oblivion in less than 24 hours. The even more ironic connect between these two scandals is that they're both about weapons delivered into the hands of evil people, courtesy of the Obama administration (Benghazi is all about RPG's and SAM's falling into the hands of terrorists and insurgents/militias as a result of the Obama backed overthrow of Gadhaffi). I don't think even Nixon or Clinton would've had the stones to use one scandal as cover for another scandal. That's an Obama original.
No, I don't believe that any of the information has changed anyone's mind. However, I do think that for those who don't pay much attention to politics and haven't decided for whom they will vote, it will have effect. There really isn't too much nuiance in this story. Obama lied and people died.
The problem with many conservative issues is that you cannot put them on a bumper sticker and therefore it doesn't penetrate the fog of media bias. This one will.
I am old enough to remember WATERGATE. Nixon was reelected but it brought down his presidency eventually because the steady drip of more information coming out daily couldn't be resisted. If Obama is reelected it might have the same effect.

Its not suprising, but my wife watches all of the morning shows on the three major networks. Not one word about this incident in three days, even though congressional hearings are going on.

CNN.com currently doesn't even have it listed on the front page of their news stories or even on the 'world' section. They've got links to $h1t like "Animals who don't get Halloween" but nothing on 4 Americans being murdered by terrorists. Amazing...

Yep. See post #42 of this thread. If Obama IS re-elected and the repubs take back the Senate I really fear that something will be found that they just can't ignore. I'm talking criminal. If it doesn't come to that they might as well not impeach and leave him in office as a lame duck. It would be better than having the buffoon promoted to buffoon-in-chief.
And guys Fox News and Sharyl Attkisson from CBS News are the ONLY media working this. And it seems that Sharyl Attkisson from CBS can't get anything of substance published anymore, I haven't seen or heard a word from her in about a week. They have some others doing a little lip service now but that's about it. Fox is the only ones working it hard.
