Got this kit from a friend, and it is just the kit, no lower. I am trying to figure out what exactly it fits. I would like to find a lower, find a complete gun that this will fit, or sell this kit outright. My main reason for posting it in the general discussion is for identification purposes. I need to know what I have besides the obvious, and know what gun this will fit. Oh, and what is it worth? Seems to be in good shape but someone put different sights on it. Red front and white rear. SDarkRage has a 92FS and it doesn't fit his, hence my posting here. Thanks

Yeah, those are made to fit the 92/96 series pistols. I'm not sure why it wouldn't fit on your friends 92?

Check the BerettaForums classifieds for some price references. The factory conversions are worth a little more than the Ceiners, but people usually don't have any trouble selling either one. I 'think' I sold my Beretta factory .22 conversion with 2 mags for $250 early this year. That's the price that's stuck in my head, anyway.

If I was closer, we could try it on mine. Maybe you can find someone else in the area and check it out.

There's been several variations of the 92 series over the years. My Beretta handgun book is at work, and I can't remember all the designations, or differences. I don't recall there being anything major, though. If it's for an older model 92, it might be worth something to those guys on BerettaForums.

Maybe you can find some info here... http://www.beretta-e.org

It looks shorter than the full-sized 92 slide (but maybe that's just the styling that John uses on his kits). It might be fitted to a centurion model - aren't they a tad shorter than standard 92s?

I'm pretty sure that nothing on the Centurion model will fit the 92 (save the sights possibly).

I know someone over in Tulsa that has a Centurion, but he's the only one I know that's ever owned one.
