Best chicken fried steak ?

Where's the best place to get a really good classic chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and white gravy ?......let's say the OKC metro south to about Purcell.

I can recall back in 1975 the ones at Ruby's truck stop in Purcell were always good after closing down the Silver Dollar Club in Lexington on a Saturday night......Ahhhhhh the good old days.

kendall's in noble used to make a good one ,but i haven't been there in 3-4 years

I have never ate there but I have heard good things about the place in Noble. Best I've had is Lucilles' in Muhall

Cheever's - NW 23rd & Hudson

The jalepeno gravy is awesome! Make reservations on a Friday or Saturday night and don't go dressed like you would for Golden Corral.

Which one is it in the city that has the phones at the tables? And the sign says something like "best chicken fried steak in the universe" or something like that. They had really good stuff!!! Is it still there/open??
