heres what i do, wrap ur gun tight with several wraps of saran wrap, fill ur kitchen sink with water and let the holster soak for 20 min or so, put ur gun in it and put it on an ac vent or a fan for a day or 2 then itll be good to go. the wrap makes it just enough over sized to stretch it but not too much, after the leather is good and dried out, neatsfoot oil it. even if its sealed from the maker, itll still soak up water and stretch since its skin.
I use a plastic bag. I wrap it around the gun 2 times and then stick it in there overnight. I wouldn't spray anything in my holster, but that is just me.
