If you put a dollar value on your time, the amount you would spend in labor rebuilding that pump would FAR exceed the 50 bucks the remanufactured one costs. Rebuilding a power steering pump sucks.

Go with the reman, bolt it on, enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

Power steering pumps are a PITA! I once replaced an entire truck with a new one due to having to jack with the PS pump too many times. Hate 'em! Buy a reman and cross your fingers. That's just my .02

Since you have a leak you could probably reseal it, but how many times have you run it low. I wouldn't risk rebuilding only to find out a week later that its weak. Most of the kits you are looking at are probably only seal kits. Think about the age of the vehicle and how worn the hard parts might be.
