Better to rebuild PS pump or buy new or refurb?

As far as resealing the unit goes. Usually any of the accessories that have a shaft and a seal go the bearing that attaches tot he shaft is what goes bad and causes the seal to become worn out. Replacing the seal only will get you down the road tempoprarily only. I have rebuilt all kinds of stuff for cars in the past. I prefer just to buy something rebuilt with a lifetime warranty instead of messing with it . The factory that rebuilds them has all the special tools and presses alng with the knowledge of a person whoo has done hundreds of them. Sometimes an at home rebuild goes smooth . Sometimes you end up buying one any ways.

See this is what happens when I get a new truck. I dont get to fiddle with the buick. Good to see those prices are still good. $7 for a core charge, when you have to pay $5 to ship it back sounds kinda wasteful, lol.
