and the synthetic thc is not as effective, and can have adverse side effects not experienced with the plant.

there are dozens of cannabinoids in marijuana, and try work in concert with one another. our bodies have a system in place to utilize these cannabinoids, and store them for later use. that's why marijuana can be detected for weeks or months after use, while meth, most pain meds, and alcohol are metabolized out in hours or days.

B. S. Meth is not legal! It is a bastard version of amphetamine, but is certainly not prescription amphetamine, neither is the dose equivalent. Prescription amphetamine is highly regulated and may be abused, but it works wonders for those with ADHD when taken as prescribed. Meth is poison. To compare the two as equal just shows your ignorance.

might want to be careful with the "ignorance" talk...and look up Desoxyn, which is legal, prescription methamphetamine (unless i'm the ignorant one here)

the only difference is in the manufacturing process, one being done in the safety of a lab by trained professionals, and the other being done in coke bottles on aisle 5... because it is legal for some, they have safe access to a quality product with less risk of cross contamination, poisoning, or theft and murder.

Careful? of what? If there is a legal version of methamphetamine suitable for prescription for ADHD, then fine. Home brew is certainly not the same in practice.

I'm referring to the "medical science" studies you posted about...those that have been authored in peer-reviewed journals. I'm not referring to media reports.

Who do you think are conducting these experiments and compiling the research? High school pot heads? These are being done in controlled environments under the watch of trained medical staff. Are you really being serious or you just playing devils advocate here?

I'm serious. I'd like to read (or, in most cases, re-read) the studies.

again, why is that? could it have to do with the fact that people who are addicted, some of whom had been legally prescribed the drug, will do what they can to feed that addiction, even if its illegal? even if those willing to break the law aren't too concerned about quality control or public safety?

the law does nothing but make criminals.
