Bob, it was later discovered that he had been paid a salary in the early '50s by the USSR. So whether he was given that title officially or not, he was a powerful factor - at one time THE most intellectual and influential leader - within the movement. Still today, his writings are almost revered (and are applied, to the letter) by the modern socialist party.

I was just stating the obvious. The guys in the middle are the ones with deep pockets. If you want to control a country with food, those are the guys. Not the retailers.

This just proves that Biden knows nothing about economics and shouldn't be messing with fire. Does anyone honestly think grocery stores WANT high prices? When that happens people don't buy anything they don't have to have to survive and spend the absolute minimum on what they must have. How does that build profits for the grocery stores? The answer is that it doesn't and as usual block head Joe doesn't know what he is talking about.

Wasn't it jb in 2008 who said on a hot mic to b.o. that all we need to do is spend our way out of this crisis? If you have a ton of debt you cut your expenses and pay your bills. You can't go to your boss and tell them "my family voted, you need to give me a raise." You cannot go to your grocer and say, "I am in a lot of debt, it's your responsibility to lower your prices so I can eat." What the frack ever happened to common sense.

Margins in groceries are typically already pretty thin. He should be going after the middle man.

I’m not arguing with anyone but I don’t think it’s the availability of oil as much as market manipulation. Produce a restricted amount of oil at a higher price and get the same profit as producing more at a lower price.
