And why put your faith in a piece of paper instead of the principles behind the words? Do you think that the desire to be free is exclusive only to Americans? To be free from being enslaved by other men, religion or government elsewhere in the world? To believe something is great. However, is the belief grounded in fact? On rhetoric? On emotion?
If the words on paper aren't backed by the desire to follow the principles then the paper is worthless.

An emotional appeal? How many of those wars were NOT for money and power? How many were actually for defense? For offense? Hey, if a piece of paper makes you feel happy, go for it. However, I prefer to defend the principles that are supposed to be the reason for the piece of paper. Defend the principles instead of waving a flag and relying on emotion.
