Geez, even the feeders are bigger in tx! That’s freaking huge to make the rare, fat, striped, eastern tx mountain lion look diminutive.

A number of years ago I had one cross the highway in front of me. This was on Highway 62 between Altus and Snyder.

Years ago, my uncle said he had one run into the side of his car, on the east side of the Headrick bridge on hwy 62. He said he turned around and went back, and it had run off.

there used to be a cougar that stalked the area around sinbads hideaway. i think it was on 10th street okc

To this day I swear I saw a melanistic mountain lion last year. I just can’t convince myself that I didn’t. As a kid I’ve heard a mountain lion down around paoli when fishing right at sunset, I’ll never forget that sound. Seen some bobcats out hunting, never have managed to catch them in season though. Back when I was a dog catcher I wrestled and caught a juvenile bobcat with my gloved hands… that was exciting.

Too bad the landowner didn't get to keep it . . . I understand why they took it though.
