Seen somebody recommend these on here a while back, finally pulled the trigger.

Ordered the 18oz with steel insert. Seems well made and it's THICK. I've had a Looper Kydex for a while and it seems to be broken down now. I'm excited to get it broken in.

Any idea what gauge the steel insert is ? I assume it runs from the fold to where the holes begin...? I ask because I’ve considered making one.

Can't be much. I can't feel the steel at all, got to be really thin
