The saddest thing is that so many people miss the point of the second amendment. Issa mentioned it. The fact is, you have no other rights without that one. You are mearly allowed to do what the powers graciously allow. Our country was meant to have an equalization of power between the people and the government, and that's where Maher has a point. We have given up that equal power. But the answer is not to give up all together, but to restore it.
