Breast feeding your baby is good for both baby and mother. Better than anything commercially available, it's science.
Isn't providing branded commercial products to patients another form of "running everyone's life"? This stuff will still be available by the way, as the article states. Why should a hospital serve as an advertizing conduit between a patient and a wonderful formula company whose intentions are pure? Who do we want washing our brains anyway?
I've always been told breastfed is healthy. That is still no excuse for a government entity to become involved. Bloomberg is most open wannabe dictator in this nation.

what about the women who cannot breast feed?
According to the article in the OP, they'll get the promotional packets of formula. In fact, the free promotional formula will be available to anyone, not just to women who can't breast feed but to those who don't choose to.
