Just left the drive thru at Braums on SW 29th and Sara Rd and no problems using my debit card.
I dont think thats what I remember being told. A trucker couldnt make it home in the same day if it were 8 hours. but 350 miles, they can. And those trucks are back everyday.I think it’s an 8-hour radius from Tuttle. I went on the tour at the farm a few years ago, but I don’t recall if that’s where I heard that.
Maybe it was an eight hour round trip, but it could’ve been a distance and I’m remembering the time from a different source. It has been a few years since I went on the tour.I dont think thats what I remember being told. A trucker couldnt make it home in the same day if it were 8 hours. but 350 miles, they can. Don't turn the education of your kids over to the school system 100%. Always be engaged in teaching them what they need to know - especially math. Our schools get an F in math education.Hate to say it but that is way too typical. We of the older generation have failed on so many levels.
Its about 5.5 or 6 hours to Salina if I remember right, plus unload time before returning to Tuttle. That makes for a 13 or 14 hour day pretty easy. Salina sticks in my mind because my brother used to live in NE and anytime he came home to visit, he always stopped in Salina to get his ice cream on his way back north.Maybe it was an eight hour round trip, but it could’ve been a distance and I’m remembering the time from a different source. It has been a few years since I went on the tour.
