I was advised Friday at the Elk City location that the server was down and they are unable to connect with the home office.

Are you saying this would be a fantastic time for the employees to rob the place?

Often incidents like this are from ransomware. Not saying that's what is wrong here but that seems like a logical guess.

It is what it is. Ransomware Hackers. ETA down was given as 2 weeks, But from experience thats ONLY if they pay and have a working system when finished. I do think Braums runs a redundant system, so hopefully all was backed up. And this is all 300 plus stores.

The employees working the day I stopped in were busting their tails taking orders, documenting it, taking payment and making change.

Hands down the best. They don't even have any competition here.

Me and my buddy actually kicked around opening one when we were out in Commiefornia. We figured we'd have to run reefer trucks both ways pretty much constantly 24/7, because the only thing out there at that time was Baskin Robbins and little gucci, marble slab type stores in the uppity areas. Braums would make a killing out there. But they won't do franchises and won't expand that far out.

Nope I think 350 miles is there furthest location. Salina KS going north is the last braums stop. They want same day delivery for freshness.

My son worked at the Braums farm in tuttle, taking care of calfs 250 head as a rule. Calf steers used to be sold for $10 as bottle feeders but now they keep and raise em to make their beef products.

I think it’s an 8-hour radius from Tuttle. I went on the tour at the farm a few years ago, but I don’t recall if that’s where I heard that.

Quit Braums myself. Years ago. Not going to trash on them, but I could.
I always preferred Bordon 4% over Braums.
Bluebell for Ice Cream. Braums does have pretty fair Milk. Ice Cream Quality has diminished since the 80's in my opinion. Smaller Cartons and less Creamy. I actually quit them for another set of reasons.
