All good advice, the hand held cutters are going to be quick and easy. Plan your connections and get all of the right fittings and pipe plus a small can of glue and primer. You will be shocked how the purple primer gets absolutely everywhere....

For an air conditioner drain line, I wouldn’t glue it. Just push it on good. It will not leak, it will not come off by itself, and it will be removable if the line clogs with slime, as condensate line will do.
Good point. It is a drain line, hence no pressure, and no need for glue.

Am I mistaken or is part of the elbow broken? When I did sprinkler repair I was able to heat the elbow and get the glue to release enough to twist it off and then install a new elbow.

If you are selling the house the non glued PVC may not pass inspection.
They have goofy rules you know.
No I am not selling the house. I just bought it a year ago and plan on living here till I die. I don’t doubt the inspector not passing it though. But then again my inspector let some things go that I wouldn’t think he would have. They weren’t that big of a deal though. The house ain’t that old.
