Tiny remote control car or remote control helicopter or little nerf guns that shoot the foam darts... we killed many hours playing with toys lol. Im not a big snacker so i gave most of mine away. I smoked a pipe as well as cigars and that is a good calming time killer also. As for batteries I wouldnt worry too much about getting it in to the country but I wouldnt send anything expensive enough that he would have to send it back because that's where he will have problems. Definitely go with the flat rate "if it fits it ships" boxes. You can fit quite a bit in those 12.95 boxes.
