Well, so far, I have

Spike's Billet reciever and 6" barrel at Josh's awaiting my handguard decision.
Noveske lower engraved by MAS, need to send off for the stamp. I was waiting until I bought the can, so I could send them both off.
Magpul CTR milspec stock, 9mm buffer and spring.
RRA LPK with 2 stage trigger, DPMS hammer.
Ordering the can next week, YHM Cobra

I need to buy
Hahns top loading block
Mags
Handguard. I would like a Daniel Defense, but am thinking of a YHM for now. I can always upgrade it later, but am getting antsy.
Iron sights. Thinking ARMS? Not sure yet, and suggestions?

So I am still a ways off. I have around $1700 in it so far with the stamps, and need another $800 to finish it off. I hate to add it up, I would rather keep looking at the finished ones and dream......

I haven't looked at a maverick/mossberg 88 in years, But I assume they still use a 500 style safety up on top. If so spend a few bucks and order a 590 "metal" safety button, the plastic ones break quite often.

the maverick 88 has the safety on the front of the trigger guard, instead of on top of the receiver like the 500 and 590. that's the reason i got the 88 instead of the 500. i had the cash to get either when i bought it but, i personally don't like the safety to be on top of the receiver.

The real question is if a shotgun is the best weapon for fighting zombies at all?
I'm thinking a rifle would be better.
Having said that, I think a sidesaddle, sling, and a surefire are the only accessories needed on shotguns.
