Don't count on the courts 'throwing it out'. California-NTM has already made it illegal to own certain hand guns and long guns with the same configurations that are commonly sold in other States. They have also banned the home delivery of ammunition (must be purchased through an FFL for background check first).

If it’s appealed to scotus, it will be thrown out, based on the current makeup & recent 2A ruling.
