It's absolutely the "sexiest" little rimfire rifle ever made.

There is a good deal of “sex appeal” with CZ rifles. I have a 527 “Mannlicher” that is not only really accurate but just plain sexy. Will not sell it either.

I drive within 50 yds of my range usually on a daily basis and hardly ever stop to busy trying to clear more timber than take time to do some shooting.

Put the chainsaw down and take a big bore to the base of the next tree to come down. You gotta get into cross training.

I did exactly this at the ripe old age of …36. I realized I was no different than those gun show curmudgeons I make fun of that say “oh my should couldn’t handle that anymore” as if they actually shoot any of the guns they haul around to small shows every weekend. Had probably 10-15 SWs, have none now; had maybe 20 Marlins, wife and I combine to have 4. I sold off almost everything that wasn’t gifted, hunted with, or that I was just plain bad with. But I don’t lament it at all, we paid off her car, and completely furnished our nursery without adding any debt at all. Baby number 1 due any day now! Even with a new baby I’ll be shooting more this year, I’m blessed to have property with a private range. By 3 weeks old she’ll be sleeping through all the 45-70 and 45 Colt I can shoot

I HIGHLY recommend signing up for some training from a high-quality instructor. Going to the range and doing the wrong thing over and over and calling it training isn't so good. Also, getting to spend the day learning and surrounded by like-minded individuals is the best vacation I take all year, even if it's local.

I have done similar sorta of late , I sold a few rifles I knew I wasn't going to be shooting since my shoulder surgery. I am finding 308 is still spicier than I necessarily enjoy but I am not willing to get rid of my 308 rifles yet. I sold my beloved SAKO Finnbear in 30-06 and a Browning Safari in 243 as I own a BAR in 243 . Recently I put up one of my Colt Sauer rifles in 7mm Rem Mag as I am hesitant to shoot anything with a belt , but the gun is so beautiful I am not all that worried if it sells it sells if not then I will admire it and think about the Elk and Mule deer it harvested .


The only thing though that hasn't angered my shoulder of late has been 223 but I am hoping maybe in another few months things improve to where I can go hunting with my 280 Remingtons or maybe a 30-06 again. Getting old and injured isn't for sissies

I did the same over a decade ago before my son was born. I had way too many guns, price of ammo was crazy, surplus was drying up, I didn’t enjoy the hunt for things to just buy for the collection, I was getting tired of my stuff is worth more than yours haggling, so it went. I didn’t shoot for a 4-5 years besides defensive practice but i did enjoy shooting bp and archery a lot. It all went south when I started working in a gun store part time. Lately, I have been selling guns for trips with the family, and a few suppressors. I will more than likely be selling more and try to pair it down to a few rifles, handguns, and revolvers besides sentimental guns. I guess between my son not being into shooting and my health not being good I would rather enjoy a few. Now, if I will do the same with my knives it would be better, and clear out most of my fishing stuff so when I do go to the next journey the wife and boy won’t be burdened by it.

Speaking of a CZ, I’m trying to decide to if I should thread the brl of my 452 American instead of buying something already threaded? It’s so accurate and I love shooting it.
