That’s a good deal on batteries. I have a couple of older Ridgid 18v tools that were given to me and picking up a few good batteries will allow me to get some use out of them.

Some of Wal-Mart’s Hyper Tough cordless tools are starting to look appealing. Some of the tools with batteries and a charger are considerably cheaper than the bare tools sold under the more familiar name brands. The Torque Test channel on YouTube has been testing cordless impact tools for a couple of years now, the channel is worth checking out.
