Nope no clear coat as I would need to sand the paint to make the clear coat grab ahold.
This lace type painting you can't put too much paint down or it will look odd.
When I did my Geo Metro it lasted about 3 years before it began to fade a little.
I will be close to 400,000 miles on the car by that time.
It cost less than 40 bucks to paint this and I could do it again for that and possibly change up the pattern by then.
I hate clear coat.
