Don't laugh, this is a real concern.

I mean you can jury-rig something out of your socks (or even better, a tie) but it just doesn't have the same thrill, know what I mean?

Socks.... Duh , why didnt I think of that. Last time in the heat of the moment we grabbed a few zip ties. During all the commotion somehow the zip ties got so tight that they were cutting off circulation. I actually had to get 3 stitches in each arm because when I cut them off with a pair of dikes i couldnt keep from nipping a little skin.....

Got a question for all you guys who would know, I am getting a nice Magazine/Handcuff carry leather for trade and need to know if a civilian can carry a pair of handcuffs?

just wondering because if not I will probably just sell it. Thanks in advance...

Reason I know this is, leaving the airport in Tampa a couple of years ago, the guy in front of me had a cuff key on his key ring. .

Fla. statute seems to specifically exclude handcuff keys on keyrings as not concealed.

I would carry zip ties around. Can't be seen (any way, shape, or form) as being "evil" and certainly don't clink when you walk.

I have a few giant zip ties in my B.O.B. for whatever might come up. I never thought about the need to secure someone with them but that would sure work.
