484 executed in Texas the same time frame.

in raw numbers, that's perhaps true. but you have to understand that when we're talking about being more likely to be executed by Oklahoma than Texas, you also have to factor in how much larger Texas' population is.

1. Oklahoma

Population: 3,751,351

executed, 1976 - 2015: 112

Executions per Capita (x10,000): 0.299

2. Texas

Population: 25,145,561

executed, 1976 - 2015: 521

0.207

As you can see, it's not even close. Oklahoma has 30% more executions per capita than Texas. Oklahoma, in fact, has the highest execution rate per capita in the entire United States.

No... you make it SEEM like its easier to get executed in Oklahoma than Texas. Statistics are an odd thing people manipulate them all the time to make their argument more relevant. And Tristan that's what you did...
