Canned bread?????

OK has anyone ever tried canned bread? This is the first I have heard of it outside of some Japanese stuff I tried years ago. (it was nasty)

Ditto...Canned brown bread, baked beans and hot dogs was a 'quick and easy' meal mom would make when I was a kid. Might have to see if my kids like it!

I tried this when we lived in New England once. I didn't care for it, but it might be one of those tastes that you acquire as a kid.

I had HOPED that it was going to be similar to the brown bread they serve at Outback, but it's not even close.

The last bread in a can i had was in 1969, and i dont remember what meal it was packed in but eggs comes to mind.

The irony is that you pour them out of a can right before you put them into the can.

Oh God, keep it away from me. It looks like some variation of Boston brown bread, a culinary miscreant that I have a vendetta against. Full of molasses and malice, it is, and usually baked in an old tin can. That looks like what it is.
