First things first it's not a diet it's a lifestyle change. Diets dont work. That makes a huge difference once one understands this and accepts it.
Do you measure ketones?
I've never done carnivore but have done keto several times to drop some weight. On keto, you can get too much protein vs fat and get thrown out of ketosis. I wonder how that will work on carnivore?
While eating carnivore you WILL be in ketosis. Measuring ketones is not really necessary.

It would seem like to me that if a person cut out veggies all together and just ate meat that constipation would be a problem......veggies = fiber / roughage = good bowel movements, right ?
This differs how from the Adkins diet of approx 20 years ago? All the meat and cheese you can eat, skip everything else? My mom forced me onto that diet but put limitations on the intake so I was pretty damn miserable and hongry all the time
Yeah I just noticed on keto that the ketone numbers would drop when getting too many calories from lean protein vs fat. Just curious how that would work on carnivore. Are you trying to get a certain portion of calories from fat?Well that answered MY question. Lol
