Just heard that the shooter,who may have had a psychiatric history, used an AK to shoot up the IHOP.Terrible tragedy,my prayers go out to the families of those killed and wounded.Get ready for someone to start calling for a new "assault weapons ban".

I was watching something on Fox about the shooting. There was an armed CCW holder across the street but he couldn't get a clear shot and wasn't about to engage the man directly.

I've never been in that IHOP, but worked right down the street from it for years. It's kind of a strange feeling, thinking about that senseless tragedy in a place so familiar to me. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and families of those victims.

No matter how hurtful people are to each other, I'd still rather have freedom than enslaving (politically-promised) safety.
