I saw it on da 'net, so it must be true...
From the AAPS website CY posted earlier, I found this gem from the WHO.
There it is, from the WHO. They are not even bashful about it. They are ignoring the mountain of scientific evidence that shows mask usage by the healthy general public actually makes this tiny issue worse.
They are doing this so that we don't make people feel bad. Oh, and some people can make money while the rest of the population struggles to pay the bills.

Even when (if?) Covid totally goes away and is no longer a risk, there will be some percentage of the population that will still wear masks in public. It'll be like a baby's blankie for the hypochondriac crowd who doesn't understand how the body's immune system works.
And those people will become their own lobby that tries to convince the govt to introduce laws that require wearing masks.
So add another dumb item onto the political list that we'll be dealing with in decades to come.

It's already happening. The wife and I tend to walk most every day, and we particularly like walking at Yukon's Chisum Trail Park, largely because with the way we walk it, we can get in close to 3 1/2 miles each time. We were walking there yesterday and met two fairly young ladies walking towards us. As they got closer, they put on their masks.
No problem with them walking together and walking outdoors away from most people, one doesn't need a mask. But, why suddenly put a mask on even though one is only passing others on the walking trail.
they were protecting you old folks, just like when our 6 year old grandson came over and announced he had to go right to the backyard because he's not suppose to be around us old people
