This reminds me of a show I watched the other day on CNBC or one of those channels about the "rise of the AR15". Of course it had some anti gun idiot reporter on there trying to make us out to be nuts and also trying to make the AR look worse than it is. But I noticed something on the program that made me mad. ANd it didn't help our cause any. There was a guy at a gun show that was selling. He had a customer that was looking at an AR and the guy selling was repeatedly calling it an "assault rifle". I mean, when you got guys like that calling an AR an assault rifle we don't have much hope. Unfortunately there are some dumb idiots out there that are selling guns to people. And I fear that those same individuals will be found and exposed to hurt our cause. This guy certainly was. He knew that he was on a nationally televised program and he was throwing that term around like it was nothing. Guess he is so dumb he don't even know the difference. But I also heard a guy at a gun show here in Shawnee tell a customer that was looking at some green tips that they were armor piercing. Do these people even know anything about the products that they sale? So it doesn't surprise me to here there are guys out there using "no paperwork" as a selling point.

"Saying no paperwork with a wink and a nod" is indeed a selling point, but is probably intended more for people who don't want a government paper trail connected to their gun than it is trying to attract the business of prohibited persons. I certainly consider having no 4473 to be a benefit.

Same here--I haven't bought a papered firearm in over a decade. Paraphrasing the old song, what I have ain't nobody's business but my own.
