Wanted to give feedback on a purchase of a Colt's 1911 I made yesterday from @Cohiba: great guy, and the pistol is perfect. Didn't look fired, and he came through when I needed it for my son's Christmas gift. I had ordered another and it was in transit, but I didn't believe it'd be here before Christmas so I was on the hunt. Also wanted to thank @thor447 for graciously allowing me time to respond to pms because it was also offered to him if I didn't reply in time.
Anyway, the ordered pistol actually arrived today and I was able to pick it up. So I'm going to have an "extra" Colt's 1911 for range days, and CC. Below is a NIB Combat Target model from the nineties. This one will go to my son. I'll mod and keep the one from David.
Also picked up a stainless Competition Series for my other boy.
