I just finished a fantastic book about Sitting Bull, George A. Custer, Little Big Horn and the events leading up to it. They were talking about how Custer always played the tune "Garry Owen" when the 7th Calvary went into a fight. I hadn't heard of the song referenced before so went and looked it up. I was surprised when I recognized it.
