Clean Powder for 38 Special

I’ve used Clays, Trail Boss, Unique, and Titegroup, and I’m not happy with how dirty they all have been.

Can someone offer a suggestion for something cleaner?

If it makes a difference, I’m loading 148 gr wadcutters.

You might look at N320 or N340. Both are very clean burning powders.

If you thought Clays was too "dirty", I don't know if anything is going to be clean enough for you.

But, try W231/HP-38.

What load(s) are you shooting?

I use 231/HP38. Pretty clean stuff

Quit shooting those revolving guns so much and they won’t get so dirty. And it’ll leave more for the rest of us.
