I work with data. My company has mandated a return to work. All my work is done on a computer, but I have to be in the office 3 days a week. Working remotely has led to a lot of burnout in my field. I work way more hours with my work readily available all the time.

If I could go into the office and actually shut a door to focus, that would be excellent. I'd get the face time so I don't go full hermit and I'd be able to concentrate on work when needed. However, I'm constantly bombarded with noise and chit chat and people trying to take my favorite red stapler.

I travel for work and am gone for months at a time. I work with engineers that work from home and office. I will say some are good and some are just not. When I need help I need it now or could cast 100s of thousands. This includes sourcing people. I have my opinion on people working from home.
