Seems an apartment complex in Colorado is not allowing residents to possess firearms while residing there. Perhaps everyone should start reading that fine print a little more closely on lease agreements.

I wonder just how long it will take the crime rate to skyrocket within this apartment complex now?!?

This is not news. There are TONS of places that have "No Firearms" clauses in their rental contracts.

If you sign any kind of lease with apartment, signed other than E.A.Tame, you should have a good lawyer look at it .

Theyre puttin all kinds of stuff in those lease's, to where your Grand children could be held responsible , if you were to pass away in the night.

"The Oakwood Apartments in Castle Rock, Colo. sent notice to residents last week of a new provision banning all “firearms and weapons” from the premises, KUSA-TV reported. Tenants have until Oct. 1 to comply."
I am sure that there are stipulations in the lease agreement signed by residents stating that the controlling interest/apartments can alter, edit, and change it's policies provided they provide residents due notice to conform to new policies.
The complex must have just become a subsidiary of Bloomberg LP.
