That's a beautiful place, SPDguns. We were through there for the first time last month when we did part of the Alpine Loop in Jeeps while on vacation. Thanks for the pictures, but I doubt I'd want to fish in winter. I've gotten old enough that if I'm not moving much, I want to stay where I'm warm.
My buddy and I camped between Creede and South Fork many years ago for 3 weeks. I have tried to locate that campground on google and maps. I would like to go back sometime. I belive it was a new state camping area in the early 70's.
I just stayed in creede a few weeks ago, plenty of trout to be caught. Went to lake city and fished the gunnison river for the first time, caught a few nice fish. [Broken External Image] [Broken External Image]
Good shots, Jimmy. Did you do any post processing of the photos before posting them? I seldom do much more than maybe crop a photo and maybe lighten it a bit before doing anything with them. I guess I like showing photos as they were when I saw the subjects. Also, good camera.
