have you disassembled your bolt carrier group? Nothing working against your firing pin?

I know it sounds like a "is it plugged in" kind of question, but funk in those moving parts can cause probs.

Actually, not yet. I cleaned and lubed it, but did not disassemble the BCG. It fires on the initial round, and on semi auto fed rounds sporadically, it just does not lock up on the chambered round. It did not do it everytime, but enough it is an issue, (once is too much....)

I thought it could be mags, so I changed that, could be light ammo, so I tried with 3 types of ammo, 1 62 gr, and 2 brands of 55 gr. The BCG does not seem to return to battery on occasion. Out of 40 attempts, it failed to lock up correctly about 20 times. When I switched lowers, it worked fine. In retrospect, I should have just switched out the buffer to see if it was that or the BCG.

I will try to do that this week and see if it changes.
